The Challenge

IMS operates at the intersection of sustainability and finance, where technical credibility is essential. Its identity needed to make a broad and complex offering feel clearer and more connected—without relying on familiar environmental clichés. The challenge was to create a distinctive visual identity that communicated expertise, trust, and progress consistently across presentations, reports, stationery, and other client-facing materials.

Solution

We developed a focused visual identity centered on a bold IMS wordmark and the positioning line, “Connecting Sustainability & Finance.” The logo balances corporate authority with a subtle sense of transition and progress, while a palette of charcoal, white, and muted teal creates a professional connection to the sustainability sector. A practical brand guideline established clear rules for logo usage, typography, color, spacing, and core applications. The result is a flexible identity that makes IMS easier to recognize and gives the team a consistent foundation for communicating its sustainability expertise.
